Mission to Seafarers - Christmas Shoebox Program

Loneliness, danger, and separation from loved ones are just some of the challenges seafarers face everyday. When ships visit the Port of Halifax during the month of December, Mission to Seafarers Halifax ensures each and every seafarer receives a shoebox gift. Many of these seafarers come from third world countries and are away from their families for up to 9 months of the year. For most, this is their only gift.

Boxes are located at the back of St. Timothy's with suggested lists of items to include attached to the tops. Boxes will be delivered to the mission on December 18th.

Christmas Outreach for Seniors

St. Timothy's provided seniors in long-term care gifts for their personal use.

More and more seniors in long-term care are wards of the state so gifts at Christmas are much appreciated!

Soak Your Soles

Women from St. Timothy's are visiting other women to offer foot and hand soaks, massages, and polish. Through this time together, the conversations that take place and the joy that is found is immeasurable. God is good and it is good to share His love with those who find themselves in less fortunate situations.

Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree

St. Timothy's supported Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree Christmas program as our 2023 Christmas project.

This program connects church communities and individuals through the delivery of a Christmas gift on behalf of an incarcerated parent. Through this program, children not only receive a gift under the tree at Christmas but maintain connections and bonds with their incarcerated parents.
