Ecumenical Soup Outreach
On the third Thursday of each month, we gather with our neighbouring congregations of St James United and St Joseph's Roman Catholic Churches to prepare and deliver a soup lunch. We build friendships as we chop and peel, then enjoy fellowship while the soup bubbles and cools. We are blessed to deliver these lunch packets (soup, roll, cookies, and a friendly note) to wonderful people in our neighbourhoods.
We are always interested to hear of people who would like to receive this monthly connection and lunch.
Hot Potato Events
Periodically, we host Hot Potato Events where baked potatoes with all the toppings are served while a qualified person speaks on "hot potato" topics. Topics that have been covered include, MAiD, Gaza, Artificial Intelligence, Human Trafficking, and Advanced Directives.

Christmas Outreach for Phoenix House
St. Timothy's Christmas Outreach for 2025 was to Phoenix House Youth Programs.
We gathered a truckload of gifts and practical supplies for youth. Items included sleeping bags, clothes, toiletries, games, gift cards, and kitchen supplies.
Mission to Seafarers - Christmas Shoebox Program
Loneliness, danger, and separation from loved ones are just some of the challenges seafarers face everyday. When ships visit the Port of Halifax during the month of December, Mission to Seafarers Halifax ensures each and every seafarer receives a shoebox gift. Many of these seafarers come from third world countries and are away from their families for up to 9 months of the year. For most, this is their only gift.
Boxes are located at the back of St. Timothy's with suggested lists of items to include attached to the tops. Boxes will be delivered to the mission on December 18th.

Christmas Outreach for Seniors
St. Timothy's provided seniors in long-term care gifts for their personal use.
More and more seniors in long-term care are wards of the state so gifts at Christmas are much appreciated!
Route 333 Refugee Sponsorship Association
St. Timothy's is leading this association to bring this wonderful family to Halifax. We're almost to our goal!
We really appreciate the everyone's support!

Soak Your Soles
Women from St. Timothy's are visiting other women to offer foot and hand soaks, massages, and polish. Through this time together, the conversations that take place and the joy that is found is immeasurable. God is good and it is good to share His love with those who find themselves in less fortunate situations.
Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree
St. Timothy's supported Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree Christmas program as our 2023 Christmas project.
This program connects church communities and individuals through the delivery of a Christmas gift on behalf of an incarcerated parent. Through this program, children not only receive a gift under the tree at Christmas but maintain connections and bonds with their incarcerated parents.
